Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Aurel Isaia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Eric Răducu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Piț in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to FC Oltul Slatina getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Manole Vâlcu hit a great ball. Radu Măliță in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eric Răducu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andrei Nițu hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Eric Răducu was a little too slow when Radu Măliță got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Ştefan Cenușă fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muget's protests and gave Ştefan Cenușă a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the FC Oltul Slatina defense, Costin Piț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Răducu. The FC Oltul Slatina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Răducu should have stopped the shot. Irinel Oros hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Isaia came free, but Daniel Cenușă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Piț in the 21st minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Cătălin Crașovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes FC Oltul Slatina got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Gârdescu. After 33 minutes of play, Muget's Costin Piț made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Răducu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes in the game, Radu Măliță fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eric Răducu having to interfere. Eric Răducu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Piț, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Muget's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Ubarna came free, but Daniel Cenușă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Muget's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaudencio Ubarna was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Oltul Slatina's players had a chance to rest. FC Oltul Slatina's Gaudencio Ubarna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Daniel Cenușă in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Piț in the 43rd minute of play forced FC Oltul Slatina's goalkeeper Eric Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcu Cenușă hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Daniel Cenușă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Radu Măliță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Radu Măliță put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eric Răducu. Eric Răducu came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Muget's Irinel Oros. But to his dismay, Irinel Oros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Eric Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Piț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Muget booed when FC Oltul Slatina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Nițu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Muget's Costin Piț sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Răducu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Ştefan Cenușă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Piț in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Răducu saved FC Oltul Slatina from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Radu Măliță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muget fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. FC Oltul Slatina made a substitution. Leontin Olariu replaced Aurel Isaia. Muget were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after FC Oltul Slatina's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emil Cenușă took the corner. Muget's Emil Cenușă was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eric Răducu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Costin Piț struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Eric Răducu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muget. When Costin Piț came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Muget fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costin Piț couldn't finish the play. Eric Răducu came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Muget's Costin Piț. But to his dismay, Costin Piț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. FC Oltul Slatina's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
