Mugurel Bleoancă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Caragea in the 2nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucrețiu Agulescu got free with Mugurel Bleoancă in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11thth minute of the game Daddy Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BVB 09's Walther Hörster was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucrețiu Agulescu struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Mugurel Bleoancă didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BVB 09. In the 15th minute Remus Voican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Hörster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Remus Voican put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Walther Hörster. In the 19th minute Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner. Nistor Predescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Remus Voican's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Walther Hörster was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Walther Hörster stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daddy Gol's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Vali Aurelianu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Florin Cosor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Hörster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Chilian charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florin Chilian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florin Chilian hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mugurel Bleoancă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Caragea in the 35th minute of play. Eduard Balc lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 41 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Doru Balint came free, but Mugurel Bleoancă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Cosor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Lucrețiu Agulescu made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Sergey Link hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Nistor Predescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BVB 09's Walther Hörster didn't even have to move. 59 minutes into the match, Daddy Gol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Walther Hörster, 0-2. In the 64th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Daddy Gol dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nistor Predescu during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nistor Predescu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. BVB 09's Florin Tărău was substituted for Lucrețiu Agulescu. BVB 09's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Codruț Filimon in the 73rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Codruț Filimon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mugurel Bleoancă quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Bleoancă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Răduța in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Răduța in the 82nd minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Mugurel Bleoancă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Florin Tărău came free, but Mugurel Bleoancă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Björn Jernberg hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes, BVB 09's Codruț Filimon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mugurel Bleoancă came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BVB 09 reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Filimon in the 87th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Mugurel Bleoancă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Daddy Gol came free, but Walther Hörster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
