The supporters of Kobra TEAM booed when Steaua Bucuresti -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Ielciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kobra TEAM's Junior Kobra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Cenușă in the 22nd minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Mircea Cenușă came free, but Junior Kobra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Breckenfeld got free with Grigore Rânceanu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Cristian Ozon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s Nichifor Barbălată got a free kick in the 41st minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mircea Cenușă to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurel Opincaru kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Aurel Opincaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dragoş Mustea came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Steaua Bucuresti -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragoş Mustea couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Popeangă in the 63rd minute of play forced Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s goalkeeper Grigore Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Dragoş Mustea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Kobra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jairo Lenzi's late challenge caught a Steaua Bucuresti -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Lenzi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Steaua Bucuresti -MM- booed when Kobra TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Lenzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Mihai Nicolaescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kobra TEAM fans cheered their team off the field, for while Steaua Bucuresti -MM- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
