But to his dismay, Mario Benitez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Albert Lebrun kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Bobby De Maerschalck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Les Presidents FC's Bobby De Maerschalck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Viskens in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Sebastián Piñera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Esquirla FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Viskens in the 42nd minute of play forced Les Presidents FC's goalkeeper Bobby De Maerschalck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Les Presidents FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Benitez to maneuver through the defense. Bobby De Maerschalck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philippe-Arnaud Van den Plas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Benitez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Kasper Viskens took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Bobby De Maerschalck to make any attempt to save it. Albert Lebrun hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Kasper Viskens notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Les Presidents FC's Bobby De Maerschalck. Bobby De Maerschalck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Bobby De Maerschalck managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Esquirla FC's Kasper Viskens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 89 minutes into the game, Kasper Viskens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bobby De Maerschalck. Kasper Viskens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. In the 94th minute, Mario Benitez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Esquirla FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
