Bastian Vranckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Bruyninckx having to interfere. Bert Wuets struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Yanick Bruyninckx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Everett Hawks. Yanick Bruyninckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stan Schoenmaekers in the 7th minute of the match. Stan Schoenmaekers's late challenge caught a Under Construct's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stan Schoenmaekers helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Everett Hawks's Stan Schoenmaekers got a free kick in the 17th minute. The Everett Hawks's Erwin Heijlen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bas Coekelbergh in the 18th minute of play. The Everett Hawks's Erwin Heijlen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save The Everett Hawks from getting a goal against them. Diederiek De Pauw kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Bert Wuets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Everett Hawks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bert Wuets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Under Construct's goal looked a bit too open when Diederiek De Pauw came free, but Yanick Bruyninckx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Bastian Vranckx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yanick Bruyninckx was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After the first half The Everett Hawks were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute, Stan Schoenmaekers reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yanick Bruyninckx. The goal made the score 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Under Construct's zone, Diederiek De Pauw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanick Bruyninckx came out of the goal and Diederiek De Pauw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bastian Vranckx came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yanick Bruyninckx could save by the left post. Diederiek De Pauw kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Everett Hawks eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
