When Joppe Wortelers came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the KFC Cromvelde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joppe Wortelers couldn't finish the play. The KFC Cromvelde fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when KFC Cromvelde's Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem-Alexander Vercauteren in the 41st minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Erwin Heijlen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt to make the kick off. Lia Arbulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Heijlen having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Willem-Alexander Vercauteren notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of The Everett Hawks's Erwin Heijlen. Erwin Heijlen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72ndth minute of the game Manuel Antonio Cromefeldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Everett Hawks's Erwin Heijlen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
