The SK Gullegem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Yanick Bruyninckx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Johnny Oyen came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SK Gullegem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Oyen couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Remco de Nooter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Bruyninckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Elias Torfs got a free kick in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Will Jamieson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SK Gullegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Under Construct the free kick. In the 80th minute, Will Jamieson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Under Construct was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joris De Cock didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Remco de Nooter managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK Gullegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Remco de Nooter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yanick Bruyninckx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Volders hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantijn Rix in the 96th minute of play forced SK Gullegem's goalkeeper Marco Jamieson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SK Gullegem's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
