An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Dziatkowicz in the 20th minute of play forced Flamenco United's goalkeeper Jannes Swartenbroekx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannes Swartenbroekx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Dziatkowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Moerhuize getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Karel Dekker hit a great ball. Michael Braeckman hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Moerhuize's Alain Simons couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Flamenco United. Karel Dekker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jannes Swartenbroekx having to make a save. 32 minutes into the match, Moerhuize's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Dechamps came free, but Constantijn Meijers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Moerhuize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Dziatkowicz to maneuver through the defense. Constantijn Meijers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Dechamps in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Van Hoyveldt in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jannes Swartenbroekx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jannes Swartenbroekx was a little too slow when Antoni Dziatkowicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Rene Van Hoyveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Jannes Swartenbroekx however easily saved by the left post. Alain Simons lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Youri Goolen to strike the kick off in the second half. Constantijn Meijers was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Vicente Dechamps capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Dechamps really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The supporters of Flamenco United booed when Moerhuize was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karel Dekker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flamenco United made a substitution. Edward Wuyts replaced Youri Goolen. After a rather tough play, Moerhuize's Karel Dekker got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Hannes De Reijck kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Antoni Dziatkowicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jannes Swartenbroekx. Flamenco United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Matthieu Leempoels's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Constantijn Meijers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jannes Swartenbroekx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Van Hoyveldt in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolf Deferme during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jannes Swartenbroekx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Van Hoyveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Moerhuize's goalkeeper Constantijn Meijers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Wuyts. In the 81st minute, Adolf Deferme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Van Hoyveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Moerhuize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Anthonissen to maneuver through the defense. Karel Dekker charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karel Dekker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Karel Dekker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Flamenco United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
