Nestor Vansteenbrugge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Vandekerkhove in the 12th minute of the match. Nestor Vansteenbrugge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Vandekerkhove, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Jacque De Brouwer was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Westmeerbeek's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jacque De Brouwer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cederik Huts quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Brecht Van Hespen kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Dino Maquiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Nestor Vansteenbrugge made a huge save. Jacque De Brouwer kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Jorge Reijnders made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Vansteenbrugge. Sporting Westmeerbeek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jacque De Brouwer made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Gillis Milters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Westmeerbeek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kickers United the free kick. Nestor Vansteenbrugge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute, Nicolaas Van Bombergen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lode Rouvroys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Vansteenbrugge was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The supporters of Sporting Westmeerbeek booed when Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolaas Van Bombergen didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Kickers United were the better team. Kickers United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
