Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Benne Marichal made the kick off and thus started the match. Arnauld Van Eynde kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 6 played minutes, Geetsvondel²'s Wesley Vrankx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abraham Van Linthoud came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Geetsvondel² reached it. Herald Wouqier came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by YR Mechelen's Andries Mangelschot. But to his dismay, Andries Mangelschot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Miguel Van Mechelen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Herald Wouqier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes YR Mechelen got a freekick which was hit by Andries Mangelschot. Andries Mangelschot hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Benne Marichal in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abraham Van Linthoud, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. YR Mechelen's Abraham Van Linthoud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benne Marichal in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, YR Mechelen's Andries Mangelschot got a free kick in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benne Marichal in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abraham Van Linthoud saved YR Mechelen from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Miguel Van Mechelen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Geetsvondel²'s Herald Wouqier. Herald Wouqier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Van Mechelen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Geetsvondel² defense, Miguel Van Mechelen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herald Wouqier. The Geetsvondel² fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herald Wouqier should have stopped the shot. Toon Hofnagels charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toon Hofnagels the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of YR Mechelen booed when Geetsvondel² was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toon Hofnagels didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Van Linthoud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toon Hofnagels in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes YR Mechelen got a freekick which was hit by Leo Van Mechelen. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Van Mechelen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andries Mangelschot got free with Herald Wouqier in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Hannes Steenbecks had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abraham Van Linthoud. YR Mechelen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hannes Steenbecks was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, YR Mechelen's Leo Van Mechelen got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Andries Mangelschot fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YR Mechelen's protests and gave Andries Mangelschot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Andries Mangelschot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Miguel Van Mechelen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. YR Mechelen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Van Mechelen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Wesley Vrankx in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by YR Mechelen's Joery Van Mechelen. 80 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Van Mechelen came free, but Herald Wouqier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Tobias Smidts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Geetsvondel² defense, Leo Van Mechelen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herald Wouqier. The Geetsvondel² fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herald Wouqier should have stopped the shot. Andries Mangelschot was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Andries Mangelschot hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Wesley Vrankx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abraham Van Linthoud. YR Mechelen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnauld Van Eynde hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Toon Hofnagels got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Geetsvondel² fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. YR Mechelen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
