Suikerklontjes's Arne De Munck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luukas Schooters in the 7th minute of play. Arne De Munck made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jarno Jongbloedt sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axell De Ketelaere in the 16th minute of play forced Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Arne De Munck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Janes Verhoeven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Benedict Moreau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Suikerklontjes's Janes Verhoeven nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luke Scheerens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 30 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Billy Rijmenams. If Johnny Verdonck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the KV Schoonwater defense, Janes Verhoeven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luke Scheerens. The KV Schoonwater fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luke Scheerens should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luukas Schooters got free with Arne De Munck in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne De Munck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantijn Philippaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janes Verhoeven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jarno Jongbloedt's late challenge caught a Suikerklontjes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarno Jongbloedt helped the player get up and apologised. 54 minutes into the match, Suikerklontjes's goal looked a bit too open when Constantijn Philippaerts came free, but Arne De Munck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suikerklontjes's Arne De Munck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Verdonck in the 56th minute of play. Arne De Munck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarno Jongbloedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarno Jongbloedt in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne De Munck saved Suikerklontjes from getting behind. Reinaud Rouckeloos kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luukas Schooters in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arne De Munck saved Suikerklontjes from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Suikerklontjes's goal looked a bit too open when Jarno Jongbloedt came free, but Arne De Munck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter-Jan Pelgrims charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The KV Schoonwater fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when KV Schoonwater's Luukas Schooters looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arne De Munck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarno Jongbloedt in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Jarno Jongbloedt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne De Munck. Suikerklontjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarno Jongbloedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 78 minutes into the match, Constantijn Philippaerts notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Suikerklontjes's Arne De Munck. Arne De Munck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarno Jongbloedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne De Munck didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luukas Schooters went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KV Schoonwater had played much better football throughout.
