When Bruly's Sylvan De Maret in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bruly's players were relieved. Kenneth Thielens struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Arne De Munck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruly. Janes Verhoeven could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Rudy Duchateau made a huge save. Jacq Van hoegaerde charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacq Van hoegaerde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Jacq Van hoegaerde got a free kick in the 26th minute. Joery Cortens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Walter Wyns had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne De Munck. Suikerklontjes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Wyns was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 36 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Peter-Jan Pelgrims. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sylvan De Maret in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne De Munck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute Tijs Verhaghen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Duchateau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

58 minutes into the game, Xander Caers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suikerklontjes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bruly the free kick. After 58 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Xander Caers. Jacq Van hoegaerde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arne De Munck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudy Duchateau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar De Meyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Tijs Verhaghen struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Rudy Duchateau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suikerklontjes. Bruly's Rudy Duchateau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janes Verhoeven in the 66th minute of play. Sylvan De Maret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Arne De Munck made a huge save. In the 78th minute Sylvan De Maret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne De Munck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudy Duchateau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Janes Verhoeven, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, Kenneth Thielens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jean-Louis Vereyt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bruly booed when Suikerklontjes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xander Caers didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Thielens in the 93rd minute of play forced Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Arne De Munck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Arne De Munck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bruly had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
