Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miguel Van Mechelen took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Yannis Van Lueven came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Bruly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yannis Van Lueven couldn't finish the play. Sylvan De Maret took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yanick Verschelde. Yanick Verschelde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ritchie Spoelberghe was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bruly fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for YR Mechelen. Joel Vlimmens stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rudy Duchateau. 1-1. Kenneth Thielens took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yanick Verschelde. Yanick Verschelde dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Walter Wyns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Yanick Verschelde made a huge save. Bruly were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after YR Mechelen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jannick Montens took the corner. Yanick Verschelde came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Bruly's Sylvan De Maret. But to his dismay, Sylvan De Maret quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Walter Wyns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Verschelde having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Walter Wyns took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Yanick Verschelde to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rd minute, Toon Uijterhove hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylvan De Marets short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Yanick Verschelde to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Bruly getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sylvan De Maret hit a great ball. Walter Wyns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Yanick Verschelde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Walter Wyns got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Andries Mangelschot fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YR Mechelen's protests and gave Andries Mangelschot a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Andries Mangelschot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sylvan De Maret made a kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Miguel Van Mechelen sped through Bruly's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rudy Duchateau. Toon Uijterhove made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kenneth Thielens however managed to control. In the 58th minute Miguel Van Mechelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudy Duchateau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to YR Mechelen getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tobias Smidts hit a great ball. Walter Wyns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sylvan De Maret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Verschelde having to interfere. In the 68th minute Toon Uijterhove suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Andries Mangelschot was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Bruly made a substitution. Ernst Melkval replaced Toon Uijterhove. The audience was convinced that Miguel Van Mechelen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudy Duchateau was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bruly's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Vlimmens was slow to take the kick. During this time YR Mechelen's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joel Vlimmens almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bruly's Rudy Duchateau did a great save. YR Mechelen's Yanick Verschelde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Thielens in the 80th minute of play. Yanick Verschelde came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Bruly's Kenneth Thielens. But to his dismay, Kenneth Thielens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Sylvan De Maret fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Verschelde having to interfere. Yanick Verschelde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sylvan De Maret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yanick Verschelde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernst Melkval went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score.
