Kartal Başar scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luke Scheerens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luke Scheerens came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Twierdza Osowiec's Kartal Başar. But to his dismay, Kartal Başar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The supporters of Twierdza Osowiec booed when KV Schoonwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarno Jongbloedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axell De Ketelaere sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kartal Başar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luke Scheerens having to make a save. KV Schoonwater's Luke Scheerens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kartal Başar in the 28th minute of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Kartal Başar sped through KV Schoonwater's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luke Scheerens. 39 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Kartal Başar came free, but Luke Scheerens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Scheerens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Constantijn Philippaerts took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waut Vanden Berghe. Waut Vanden Berghe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After the first half Twierdza Osowiec were leading 2-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luukas Schooters was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarno Jongbloedt in the 52nd minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Waut Vanden Berghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luukas Schooters took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waut Vanden Berghe. Waut Vanden Berghe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. After having played for 60 minutes, Kartal Başar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Twierdza Osowiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kartal Başar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waut Vanden Berghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luukas Schooters, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Zeno Hendrickx kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Luke Scheerens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kartal Başar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Constantijn Philippaerts hit a great ball. Kartal Başar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waut Vanden Berghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luukas Schooters in the 92nd minute of play. Hector Raniers's late challenge caught a Twierdza Osowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Raniers helped the player get up and apologised. Hector Raniers kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 minutes of play, Twierdza Osowiec's Kartal Başar made it 4-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luke Scheerens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Twierdza Osowiec were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over KV Schoonwater's much stronger midfield.
