Jannick Berckmans hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, MagicTeam's Sebastian Van Bouschot threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wim Van Nel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quillian Ingelbert in the 9th minute of play forced MagicTeam's goalkeeper Will Lievens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes MagicTeam got a freekick which was hit by Nic Kints. In the 15th minute Wim Van Nel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Van Bouschot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Wim Van Nel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Van Bouschot was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Aslan Spor32's goalkeeper Sebastian Van Bouschot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tjorven Imbereghs. After 22 minutes of play, Aslan Spor32's Quillian Ingelbert made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Will Lievens was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, MagicTeam's Nic Kints got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute of the match, Wim Van Nel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Van Bouschot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sebastian Van Bouschot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Van Nel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 41 minutes into the match, Aslan Spor32's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Van Nel came free, but Sebastian Van Bouschot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Van Bouschot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Van Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danny Poets hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quillian Ingelbert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Aslan Spor32 got a freekick which was hit by Micki Essien. Aslan Spor32's Sebastian Van Bouschot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjorven Imbereghs in the 58th minute of play. Sebastian Van Bouschot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Van Nel in the 59th minute of play. If Roni Debecker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MagicTeam's Will Lievens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quillian Ingelbert in the 73rd minute of play. Danny Poets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th minute, Danny Poets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedict Wuijts charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedict Wuijts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes MagicTeam got a freekick which was hit by Benedict Wuijts. MagicTeam's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
