Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) SK Mons's Cornel Ulici started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sebastian Van Bouschot came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by SK Mons's Nick Daniels. But to his dismay, Nick Daniels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes into the match, Leif Olofsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Van Bouschot. Aslan Spor32's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leif Olofsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Leif Olofsson struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Sebastian Van Bouschot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Mons. Sebastian Van Bouschot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cornel Ulici went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Aslan Spor32's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Ulici came free, but Sebastian Van Bouschot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Aslan Spor32 getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Robbrecht van der Eycken hit a great ball. When Leif Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SK Mons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Olofsson couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Van Bouschot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Ulici in the 21st minute of play. In the 28th minute Ruben Smidts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Van Bouschot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Ulici in the 29th minute of play forced Aslan Spor32's goalkeeper Sebastian Van Bouschot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 33 minutes, Nick Daniels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Mons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nick Daniels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Ruben Smidts put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Sebastian Van Bouschot. A collision led to Aslan Spor32 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Robbrecht van der Eycken hit a great ball. Cornel Ulici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Van Bouschot having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ruben Smidts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Van Bouschot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The Aslan Spor32 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Mons were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quillian Ingelbert was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Van Bouschot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leif Olofsson in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Ruben Smidts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Van Bouschot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Cornel Ulici recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sebastian Van Bouschot. Cornel Ulici showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Leif Olofsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Sebastian Van Bouschot made a huge save. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Nick Daniels sped through Aslan Spor32's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sebastian Van Bouschot. SK Mons's Lennart Libesoons was substituted for Peng Xu. Sebastian Van Bouschot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornel Ulici, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A long shot from Benoit Gijselinckx in the 72nd minute of play was well struck, but Sebastian Van Bouschot made a really good save at the right post. With a little luck, Aslan Spor32's Sebastian Van Bouschot got control of the ball when Leif Olofsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Cornel Ulici had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Van Bouschot. Aslan Spor32's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornel Ulici was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. After a rather tough play, Aslan Spor32's Jacq Verheijt got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Ruben Smidts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Sebastian Van Bouschot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 83rd minute, SK Mons's Ruben Smidts ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebastian Van Bouschot. Sebastian Van Bouschot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. Leif Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, SK Mons's Ruben Smidts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13. Jannick Berckmans hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Aslan Spor32's Sebastian Van Bouschot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Smidts in the 93rd minute of play. Cornel Ulici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Sebastian Van Bouschot made a huge save. When the match was over SK Mons could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aslan Spor32 throughout the match.
