But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Fábio Cunha couldn't finish the play. After 4 minutes, Jacky Wauters mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Dreigoten and the Circus BAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 4 minutes into the game, one of SK Dreigoten:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Luís Fábio Cunha put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jo Maerschalcx. With a little luck, Circus BAF's Amador Paublo got control of the ball when Cornelis Meys tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Fábio Cunha in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jo Maerschalcx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luís Fábio Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jo Maerschalcx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Xu Ran Ning made a great header on Circus BAF's corner, it was just that SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx managed to reach the ball for a save. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fábio Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jo Maerschalcx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Cunha in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jo Maerschalcx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the SK Dreigoten defense, Luís Fábio Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jo Maerschalcx. The SK Dreigoten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jo Maerschalcx should have stopped the shot. When Circus BAF's Luís Fábio Cunha in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Dreigoten's goalie prevented a goal. Circus BAF were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after SK Dreigoten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi took the corner. 37 minutes into the game, Circus BAF's Lautaro Martínez Gullotta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jo Maerschalcx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Luís Fábio Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Circus BAF fans jumped to their feet. SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Cunha in the 41st minute of play. After 48 minutes of play, Circus BAF's Lautaro Martínez Gullotta made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jo Maerschalcx was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Circus BAF's Lautaro Martínez Gullotta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jo Maerschalcx. That made the score 0-7 after 59 minutes of play. SK Dreigoten's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Luís Fábio Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Jo Maerschalcx, making the score, 0-8. Luís Fábio Cunha took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jo Maerschalcx. Jo Maerschalcx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Circus BAF's Kobe Mesmaeckers was substituted for Luís Fábio Cunha. Circus BAF's Abubakar Al Abdullah was substituted for Ronald Van Achteren. In the 77th minute, Lautaro Martínez Gullotta made a precise shot to the right of Jo Maerschalcx. SK Dreigoten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Christopher Rutgeerts hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jo Maerschalcx made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kobe Mesmaeckers in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's Kobe Mesmaeckers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jo Maerschalcx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jo Maerschalcx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kobe Mesmaeckers's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Octavian De Strijcker hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Kobe Mesmaeckers made a precise shot to the right of Jo Maerschalcx. SK Dreigoten's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. Circus BAF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
