Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stanny Van Boekost started the match with the kick off. Pino Maerschalckx hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Harold Reynders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Goons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waut Goons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Reynders, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Noel Moerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Waut Goons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Noel Moerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Goons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waut Goons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Vercruysse in the 30th minute of play. Adam de Reyck made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Pino Maerschalckx sent off a good shot on target. Waut Goons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herald Dujardin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sporting Mambo's Etienne Ottevaere got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Robbin Meeus came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Olavarria FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robbin Meeus couldn't finish the play. Michael Armentier struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Adam de Reyck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Mambo. Christoffel Weets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Adam de Reyck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 64thth minute of the game Noel Moerman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Mambo's Waut Goons was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waut Goons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bert Vercruysse, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Sporting Mambo's Waut Goons got control of the ball when Harold Reynders tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Olavarria FC's Robbin Meeus seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Robbin Meeus the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Olavarria FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Robbin Meeus had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 72nd minute, one of Olavarria FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olavarria FC. The referee gave Sporting Mambo a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matthieu Vincke, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olavarria FC's Adam de Reyck. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Reynders in the 78th minute of play forced Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Waut Goons to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Yoachim Fondria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam de Reyck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam de Reyck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanny Van Boekost, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Olavarria FC's Noel Moerman got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting Mambo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olavarria FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
