De Beverpatrouille's Robby Caspers managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Laurend Koppens in the 10 minute of the game. When Zdzislaw Pilsudski came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the De Beverpatrouille fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdzislaw Pilsudski couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Sporting Mambo booed when De Beverpatrouille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Van Meerbeek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Pino Maerschalckx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Waut Goons was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Henri-Xavier Geeraerts. Robby Caspers kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harold Engelborgh to strike the kick off in the second half. Waut Goons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Pilsudski, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of De Beverpatrouille booed when Sporting Mambo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Pelsers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute of the match De Beverpatrouille got a corner. Sporting Mambo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivan Van Meerbeek ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ivan Van Meerbeek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Waut Goons quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. De Beverpatrouille fully deserved thier win.
