With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthy Verlinden in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julius Vanneste saved Limburg United from getting behind. 11 minutes into the game, Arnold Peten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Julius Vanneste was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mattheo Caspers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Schollens in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Kris Deckkers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mattheo Caspers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Matthy Verlinden put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julius Vanneste. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Yves Schollens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limburg United's supporters rose to their feet, but Yves Schollens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattheo Caspers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes into the game, Yves Schollens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Mattheo Caspers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jesse Debock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mattheo Caspers made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Jesse Debock kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mattheo Caspers. That made the score 3-2 in the 39 minute of play. Limburg United's Artur Van De Wijngaert was substituted for Philip Toeback. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

A collision led to AFC Koolkerke getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Joerie Fossaert hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Limburg United's Douglas Debecker tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mattheo Caspers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yves Schollens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mattheo Caspers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Deckkers in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Van De Wijngaert came free, but Mattheo Caspers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Debecker struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Mattheo Caspers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limburg United. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Schollens in the 71st minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Mattheo Caspers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AFC Koolkerke's Henri Cuppens got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Joerie Fossaert hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Mattheo Caspers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kris Deckkers went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute Douglas Debecker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattheo Caspers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattheo Caspers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Deckkers, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
