In the 19th minute, Pascal Van der Willeghem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the LeRoeulx defense, Sebastien Sterks kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthias De Werdt. The LeRoeulx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthias De Werdt should have stopped the shot. Brent-Jan Van Lancker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute Dimitri Van Landewijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias De Werdt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to LeRoeulx getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jarne Huyterhoeven hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Pascal Van der Willeghem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brent-Jan Van Lancker. Pascal Van der Willeghem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The LeRoeulx players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
