Pascal Van der Willeghem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Claeys having to interfere. A collision led to LeRoeulx getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jeremy Coremans hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes LeRoeulx got a freekick which was hit by Brian Van Eynde. In the 15th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Ben Jaddon hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. After a rather tough play, LeRoeulx's Charles-Antoine Thielemans got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Pieter-Jan Rummens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Ouagadougou National's Antonio Claeys proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ouagadougou National from getting a goal against them. LeRoeulx were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after FC Ouagadougou National's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pascal Van der Willeghem took the corner. Pascal Van der Willeghem made a great header on LeRoeulx's corner, it was just that FC Ouagadougou National's Antonio Claeys managed to reach the ball for a save. Antonio Claeys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jabbar De Roeulx in the 31st minute. Matthias De Werdt came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ouagadougou National's Pieter-Jan Rummens. But to his dismay, Pieter-Jan Rummens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 39th match minute, LeRoeulx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles-Antoine Thielemans to maneuver through the defense. Pieter-Jan Rummens scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthias De Werdt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jabbar De Roeulx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Antonio Claeys made a huge save. FC Ouagadougou National's Antonio Claeys proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ouagadougou National from getting a goal against them. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Peter-Jan Goovaers got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Jabbar De Roeulx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Claeys was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Antonio Claeys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martial Bormans, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Brian Van Eynde kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Pascal Van der Willeghem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Antonio Claeys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes LeRoeulx got a freekick which was hit by Brian Van Eynde. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jacques Lambert hit a great ball. Antonio Claeys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Coremans in the 77th minute of play. Matthias De Werdt made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Armand Owerckx sent off a good shot on target. Matthias De Werdt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter-Jan Rummens, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Antonio Claeys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles-Antoine Thielemans in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the LeRoeulx defense, Pieter-Jan Rummens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthias De Werdt. The LeRoeulx fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthias De Werdt should have stopped the shot. The LeRoeulx supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Ouagadougou National's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Ouagadougou National.
