In the 7th minute, Robbie Yom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Klavertje Vier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 10th minute, Claude Montens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gertjan Imberechts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Montens in the 12th minute of play forced Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goalkeeper Gertjan Imberechts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Henrik Severens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gertjan Imberechts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claude Montens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the game, FC Klavertje Vier's Eustaquio Bartoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gertjan Imberechts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Celedonio Kemen took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gertjan Imberechts. Gertjan Imberechts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Montens in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Vriendenkring Wippelgem getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Thibau Vervaeck hit a great ball. Gertjan Imberechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Kemen in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Montens came free, but Gertjan Imberechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Vriendenkring Wippelgem defense, Robbie Yom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. The Vriendenkring Wippelgem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gertjan Imberechts should have stopped the shot. Gertjan Imberechts came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Klavertje Vier's Eustaquio Bartoli. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Bartoli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 42 minutes into the match, Claude Montens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claude Montens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. 47 minutes into the match, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goal looked a bit too open when Claude Montens came free, but Gertjan Imberechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Klavertje Vier booed when Vriendenkring Wippelgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibau Vervaeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Vriendenkring Wippelgem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Klavertje Vier were winning 0-9.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustaquio Bartoli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gertjan Imberechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Bartoli, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Celedonio Kemen took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gertjan Imberechts. Gertjan Imberechts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. In the 70th minute, Celedonio Kemen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gertjan Imberechts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. FC Klavertje Vier's Willy Van de Goor was substituted for Georges-Philippe Jooris. After some careless play in the Vriendenkring Wippelgem defense, Willy Van de Goor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. The Vriendenkring Wippelgem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gertjan Imberechts should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Celedonio Kemen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-16. Gertjan Imberechts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gertjan Imberechts didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claude Montens went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-17 was the resulting score. Gertjan Imberechts came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Klavertje Vier's Claude Montens. But to his dismay, Claude Montens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-18. In the 91st minute, Celedonio Kemen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gertjan Imberechts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-19. When the final whistle sounded FC Klavertje Vier left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vriendenkring Wippelgem.
