An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Bento in the 3rd minute of play forced Sleepy Soldiers FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Bautmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Bautmans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celedonio Kemen went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Claude Montens scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth Bautmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kenneth Bautmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Montens in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Sleepy Soldiers FC booed when FC Klavertje Vier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Gebuers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Celedonio Kemen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Klavertje Vier fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After having played for 29 minutes, Eustaquio Bartoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Klavertje Vier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Bartoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claude Montens blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenneth Bautmans having to make a save. 31 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Bartoli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Kenneth Bautmans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 34 minutes of play, FC Klavertje Vier's Braulio Bento made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenneth Bautmans was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Sleepy Soldiers FC defense, Claude Montens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Bautmans. The Sleepy Soldiers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Bautmans should have stopped the shot. Kenneth Bautmans came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Klavertje Vier's Eustaquio Bartoli. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Bartoli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Celedonio Kemen scored 0-10 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth Bautmans, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-10.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastien Sterks to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustijn Van Boxstael in the 52nd minute of play. Sleepy Soldiers FC's Kenneth Bautmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sleepy Soldiers FC from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Braulio Bento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claude Montens hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Celedonio Kemen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kenneth Bautmans firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 62nd minute, Celedonio Kemen made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Bautmans. Sleepy Soldiers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. In the 66th minute Claude Montens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Bautmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Sleepy Soldiers FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Bautmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Kemen. Zabulón Carabajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastien Sterks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenneth Bautmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Bartoli in the 70th minute of the match. Kenneth Bautmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Yom, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Kenneth Bautmans was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Braulio Bento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Braulio Bento really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. Sleepy Soldiers FC's Kenneth Bautmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Sleepy Soldiers FC from getting a goal against them. Kenneth Bautmans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claude Montens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sleepy Soldiers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Celedonio Kemen scored to the left of an out of position Kenneth Bautmans, making the score, 0-13. The crowd rose to their feet as Robbie Yom kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kenneth Bautmans. That made the score 0-14 in the 82 minute of play. Kenneth Bautmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Kemen in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Claude Montens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenneth Bautmans. Claude Montens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15. 89 minutes into the match, Sleepy Soldiers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Kemen came free, but Kenneth Bautmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sleepy Soldiers FC defense, Celedonio Kemen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth Bautmans. The Sleepy Soldiers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth Bautmans should have stopped the shot. Braulio Bento took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenneth Bautmans. Kenneth Bautmans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-17. FC Klavertje Vier played a much better game than Sleepy Soldiers FC and deserved their victory. The Sleepy Soldiers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
