In the 8th minute, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Frederic Feys dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of LeRoeulx booed when Vriendenkring Wippelgem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bram Cornelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Martial Bormans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LeRoeulx fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Frederic Feys got a free kick in the 17th minute. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martial Bormans in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Vriendenkring Wippelgem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thibau Vervaeck to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes LeRoeulx got a freekick which was hit by Brian Van Eynde. Jarne Huyterhoeven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederic Feys in the 24th minute of play. Thibau Vervaeck kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Van der Willeghem came free, but Gertjan Imberechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Martial Bormans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martial Bormans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martial Bormans in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gertjan Imberechts saved Vriendenkring Wippelgem from getting behind. 39 minutes into the game, Florian Dejonghe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LeRoeulx the free kick. Frederic Feys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jarne Huyterhoeven made a huge save. In the 45th minute Charlie Geerts suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Frederic Feys was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martial Bormans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Vriendenkring Wippelgem's Gertjan Imberechts got control of the ball when Martial Bormans tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Thibau Vervaeck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LeRoeulx the free kick. Thibau Vervaeck kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Brian Van Eynde hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Charles-Antoine Thielemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gertjan Imberechts. Vriendenkring Wippelgem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Charles-Antoine Thielemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Martial Bormans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gertjan Imberechts having to interfere. During the 74th minute of the match Thibau Vervaeck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Thibau Vervaeck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Vriendenkring Wippelgem getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Thibau Vervaeck hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vriendenkring Wippelgem's zone, Martial Bormans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gertjan Imberechts came out of the goal and Martial Bormans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martial Bormans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Gertjan Imberechts made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded LeRoeulx left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vriendenkring Wippelgem.
