The audience was convinced that Gilian Ramps's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gery De Martelaere was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 44th match minute, Beek City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Bosbeeck to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Beek City's Manu Rosseels got control of the ball when Tomm Lenaerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. The F.C. Kilisspor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Beek City were winning 0-7.

The wind increased when Ramon Custermans made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Gilian Ramps made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. F.C. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Ken Goffeyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gery De Martelaere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gilian Ramps had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. When Ramon Custermans was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Gilian Ramps took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gery De Martelaere. Gery De Martelaere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Gery De Martelaere made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Gilian Ramps sent off a good shot on target. Gery De Martelaere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão van Beek in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Gilian Ramps reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gery De Martelaere. The goal made the score 0-11. Ken Goffeyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gery De Martelaere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilian Ramps in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gery De Martelaere saved F.C. Kilisspor from getting behind. The Beek City fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Beek City's Gilian Ramps looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
