With a couple of smart ball manuevers 狄平潮 in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 吕飞泉 saved 江苏YZJ联队 from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, 狄平潮 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 吕飞泉. 江苏YZJ联队's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 狄平潮 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the 江苏YZJ联队 defense, 曹宽坚 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 吕飞泉. The 江苏YZJ联队 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 吕飞泉 should have stopped the shot. 狄平潮 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 狄平潮 to make the kick off. 高鸿奕 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 刘鹏洲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
