Mats Back hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar Albom in the 5th minute of play forced Morris FC's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Britz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Nils-Emil Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernard Wicklein in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Valdemar Albom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven-Edvin Britz, 1-2. A collision led to Morris FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ola Lindgren hit a great ball. The supporters of Östavall booed when Morris FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Sjöström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Morris FC's Bernard Wicklein made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Sundström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joakim Rosin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Arne Aronsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nils-Emil Ahlstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Leonardo Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mats Back could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Leonardo Sundström made a huge save. The nice shot from Mats Back in the 63rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Leonardo Sundström had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. 64 minutes into the match, Östavall's Valdemar Albom sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Edvin Britz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute Valdemar Albom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Britz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Mats Back ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Sundström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Mats Back scored 2-5 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Sundström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 79 in the game by Mats Back from a close distance when the talented Leonardo Sundström managed to make a qualified save. Östavall's players were relieved. In the 83rd minute Bernard Wicklein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Mats Back recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonardo Sundström. Mats Back showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. Leonardo Sundström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Wicklein's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The Östavall fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Östavall's Joakim Rosin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With his leg Leonardo Sundström managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Morris FC's Mats Back fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valdemar Albom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Morris FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
