The supporters of Vänge IF booed when Kingpins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mao Hai Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bixente Poli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sefa Danış in the 7th minute of the match. Bixente Poli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sefa Danış, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Harry Sjö in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lorien Vilela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Harry Sjö did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Lorien Vilela 25 minutes into the match. Kingpins's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Euloxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorino Euloxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lorien Vilela was a little too slow when Victorino Euloxu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Vänge IF's Mikael Wenerdahl was substituted for Jarl Vallengren. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikael Wenerdahl to make the kick off. After 59 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Dragomir Krachanov. Sefa Danış could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Bixente Poli made a huge save. After some careless play in the Vänge IF defense, Yan Guo Qiang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorien Vilela. The Vänge IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorien Vilela should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute, Yan Guo Qiang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
