When Kind of Blue's Allan Vinström in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BV Borussia Hammarby's goalie prevented a goal. Eric Åkesson came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by BV Borussia Hammarby's Lennart Skoglund. But to his dismay, Lennart Skoglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Kind of Blue's Malte Siöberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charles Fernström. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. Charles Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Vinström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredric Botvidsson got free with Charles Fernström in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Siöberg in the 25th minute of play forced BV Borussia Hammarby's goalkeeper Charles Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kind of Blue's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Freddie Söderlund in the 27th minute. In the 36th minute, Walter Heisenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Fernström made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Malte Siöberg sent off a good shot on target. Charles Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Vinström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Torsten Haström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kind of Blue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BV Borussia Hammarby the free kick. After 40 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Haström. BV Borussia Hammarby's Jarl Bruse got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per Tunberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes, BV Borussia Hammarby's Jarl Bruse shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eric Åkesson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BV Borussia Hammarby reached it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lennart Skoglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eric Åkesson was a little too slow when Lennart Skoglund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. Jarl Bruse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Botvidsson in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Fernström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kind of Blue's Allan Vinström in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BV Borussia Hammarby's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th match minute, BV Borussia Hammarby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Lustig to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes, Kind of Blue's Freddie Söderlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Charles Fernström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kind of Blue reached it. After having played for 66 minutes, Allan Vinström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kind of Blue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Vinström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Allan Vinström fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kind of Blue's protests and gave Allan Vinström a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Allan Vinström. After 71 played minutes BV Borussia Hammarby got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Bruse. In the 72nd minute Malte Siöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Fernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kind of Blue's zone, Lennart Skoglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Åkesson came out of the goal and Lennart Skoglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kurt Ennegren hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Siöberg in the 77th minute of play forced BV Borussia Hammarby's goalkeeper Charles Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles Fernström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Botvidsson in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of BV Borussia Hammarby booed when Kind of Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Vinström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BV Borussia Hammarby's zone, Per Tunberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Fernström came out of the goal and Per Tunberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
