In the 14thth minute of the game Evert Andreasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avantgarde's Karl-Oskar Göransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Borut Špiček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Oskar Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Bocklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Black Mamba's Patrik Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Black Mamba from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Fabian Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Mamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Martinsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Oskar Göransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrik Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Engström in the 22nd minute of play. In the 31st minute Evert Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Oskar Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Evert Andreasson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Oskar Göransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Black Mamba defense, Egil Dahlgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Nordström. The Black Mamba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Nordström should have stopped the shot. Miguel Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Egil Dahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Karl-Oskar Göransson managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Black Mamba's Evert Andreasson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 67th match minute, Avantgarde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Engström to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Oskar Göransson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 67th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sven-Oskar Broberg. In the 77th minute, Egil Dahlgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sören Blanck took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Nordström. Patrik Nordström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Evert Andreasson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-2 to the left of a surprised Karl-Oskar Göransson 85 minutes into the match. Patrik Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borut Špiček, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Black Mamba's Kevin Harman got a free kick in the 89th minute. Egil Dahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evert Andreasson in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Oskar Göransson saved Avantgarde from getting behind.
