The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Johnny Söderström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the game, Ingvar Esbjörnsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sven-Edvin Vedholm. Ingvar Esbjörnsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Ingvar Esbjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Aleberg in the 19th minute of the match. Ingvar Esbjörnsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm made a huge save. When Jonathan Alberg came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Rörvik BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Alberg couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Dexiators defense, Ingvar Esbjörnsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Edvin Vedholm. The Dexiators fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Edvin Vedholm should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ingvar Esbjörnsson sped through Dexiators's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sven-Edvin Vedholm. 28 minutes into the game, Rasmus Hultin lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Sven-Edvin Vedholm. Bengt Fanström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Aleberg in the 36th minute of the match. If Jonathan Alberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dexiators's Sven-Edvin Vedholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Dexiators from getting a goal against them. Sven-Edvin Vedholm didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 42nd minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. In the 47th minute Jonathan Alberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magnus Boklund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bengt Fanström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonny Strömberg's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dexiators's zone, Rasmus Hultin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Edvin Vedholm came out of the goal and Rasmus Hultin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fred Wikander hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Ingvar Esbjörnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Elof Mogren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rörvik BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Elof Mogren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Edvin Vedholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Esbjörnsson in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Edvin Vedholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ingvar Esbjörnsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Rörvik BK's Bengt Fanström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Rörvik BK from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Alberg took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Edvin Vedholm. Sven-Edvin Vedholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Sven-Edvin Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Alberg in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Niclas Ek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dexiators's Sven-Edvin Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Esbjörnsson in the 88th minute of play. Rörvik BK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
