Rune Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Fredriksson in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rune Jansson saved BK Gubbhöft from getting behind. In the 26th match minute, The Mongols was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the BK Gubbhöft defense, Bernt Fredriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rune Jansson. The BK Gubbhöft fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rune Jansson should have stopped the shot. Rune Jansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Roy Rönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunde Svan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Bernt Fredriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Jansson was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Rune Jansson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Bernt Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Mongols's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Fredriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience was convinced that Doug Las Casas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Jansson was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Rune Jansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernt Fredriksson went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of BK Gubbhöft booed when The Mongols was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunde Svan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Mongols's Doug Las Casas got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. The Mongols had won after a very even match.
