Viktor Mickelsson's late challenge caught a Skånes stolthet!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Mickelsson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, JKs Talanger's Viktor Mickelsson got a free kick in the 8th minute. Robinson Kruuse came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Skånes stolthet!'s Alexander Kiempe. But to his dismay, Alexander Kiempe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 20 minutes, Håkan Hydén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skånes stolthet! and the JKs Talanger players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Skånes stolthet! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Hydén to maneuver through the defense. Alf Karlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixten Sundberg's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 22nd match minute, JKs Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Hamberg to maneuver through the defense. JKs Talanger's attentive Stefan Koch managed to snatch the ball when Håkan Hydén made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Robinson Kruuse made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Alexander Kiempe sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, JKs Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. Robinson Kruuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robinson Kruuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reine Apelquist in the 31st minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

61 minutes into the game, Benjamin Örn threw the ball into play from the sideline. JKs Talanger's Stefan Koch quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Reine Apelquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Skånes stolthet! booed when JKs Talanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Thomas Rogne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skånes stolthet!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Rogne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robinson Kruuse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th match minute, JKs Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Koch to maneuver through the defense. Robinson Kruuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taylor Silverholt, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Håkan Hydén in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by JKs Talanger's Stefan Koch. After a defensive mix-up in Skånes stolthet!'s zone, Arne Björklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Karlberg came out of the goal and Arne Björklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Skånes stolthet! manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing JKs Talanger to win.
