Joacim Strömbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Karlberg having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Martin Lindberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BENA FK's Gaspar Leheren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Martin Lindberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Leheren was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 18 played minutes Skånes stolthet! got a freekick which was hit by Dan Svensson. Joacim Strömbom in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alf Karlberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 27th minute, Jakob Öfverman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Apelquist in the 43rd minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Gaspar Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Reine Apelquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Leheren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Joacim Strömbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Lindberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joacim Strömbom was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Skånes stolthet! booed when BENA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joacim Strömbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Stephansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Leheren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Alf Karlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Per-Oskar Ekeroth's late challenge caught a Skånes stolthet!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Oskar Ekeroth helped the player get up and apologised. Skånes stolthet!'s Alf Karlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludvig Söderquist in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Ludvig Söderquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Karlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Taylor Silverholt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 62 minutes, Henric Wållander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BENA FK and the Skånes stolthet! players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ludvig Söderquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ludvig Söderquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ludvig Söderquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, Ludvig Söderquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alf Karlberg. Skånes stolthet!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludvig Söderquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Benjamin Örn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Alf Lund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Alf Karlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Skånes stolthet! getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Reine Apelquist hit a great ball. Alf Karlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Söderquist in the 88th minute of the match.
