Sivert Sill's late challenge caught a Skånes stolthet!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sivert Sill helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Sivert Sill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Håkan Hök took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 minutes of play, Skånes stolthet!'s Martin Lindberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Hök was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, Skånes stolthet! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Thidén to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Häger in the 13th minute of play forced Skånes stolthet!'s goalkeeper Henry Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Skånes stolthet!'s goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Kondor came free, but Henry Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Häger in the 22nd minute of play forced Skånes stolthet!'s goalkeeper Henry Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skånes stolthet!'s goalkeeper Henry Hellström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Henrik Häger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Henry Hellström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Skånes stolthet!'s Martin Lindberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. If Sivert Sill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Elefanterna's Johnny Ekeroth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henry Hellström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Martin Lindberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Håkan Hök made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Skånes stolthet!'s Emanuel Stephansson got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Sivert Sill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elefanterna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Lindberg was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sivert Sill got free with Henry Hellström in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute of the match Elefanterna got a corner. Skånes stolthet!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrik Häger ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Skånes stolthet! getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Martin Lindberg hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Elefanterna's goal looked a bit too open when Taylor Silverholt came free, but Håkan Hök reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrik Häger struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Henry Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elefanterna. In the 61st minute Johnny Ekeroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes, Bernt Ahlkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elefanterna and the Skånes stolthet! players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Skånes stolthet! booed when Elefanterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Ahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sivert Sill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Henry Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Håkan Hök stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Stephansson's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. With a little luck, Skånes stolthet!'s Henry Hellström got control of the ball when Henrik Häger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henry Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Ekeroth in the 70th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Skånes stolthet! got a freekick which was hit by Reine Apelquist. Deng Mo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Henry Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrik Häger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hellström having to interfere. Henrik Häger came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henry Hellström could save by the left post. Henrik Häger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Hellström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Reine Apelquist hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Skånes stolthet!'s goal looked a bit too open when Sivert Sill came free, but Henry Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Henrik Häger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henry Hellström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When the match was over Elefanterna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skånes stolthet! throughout the match.
