Protegéerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karlsborg the free kick. A collision led to Protegéerna getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bo-Erik Springfält hit a great ball. Charlie Bark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wiktor Karlstedt was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Gustavsson. Mattias Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Bennet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Protegéerna's Alexander Lundström suffered a sore thigh after 62 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Leonardo Skarkman charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonardo Skarkman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Karlsborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Skarkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Olof Löfkvist. Sven-Oskar Trillkott took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Georg Vallin. Protegéerna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 69 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Olof Löfkvist. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wiktor Karlstedt in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georg Vallin saved Protegéerna from getting behind. Leonardo Skarkman hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Protegéerna's Roy Bennet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mattias Håkansson. That made the score 2-1 after 78 minutes of play. Mattias Håkansson was a little too slow when Roy Bennet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-2. With a little luck, Karlsborg's Mattias Håkansson got control of the ball when Roy Bennet tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Karlsborg getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Leonardo Skarkman hit a great ball. Roy Bennet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mattias Håkansson having to make a save. Despite this Mattias Håkansson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 93 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Skarkman. In the 95th minute, Fredrik Billberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute of the match Matthias Borre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Georg Vallin skillfully saved the ball. Karlsborg were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
