After 4 minutes of play, North Pole Kickers's Nisse Jul made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Åke Gustafsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grant Trää's late challenge caught a Ghost Hunters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grant Trää helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Grant Trää hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Svanér hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nisse Jul in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in North Pole Kickers's zone, Sven Bäckman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Åkerman came out of the goal and Sven Bäckman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grant Trää hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Tomasson in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in North Pole Kickers's zone, Sven Bäckman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Åkerman came out of the goal and Sven Bäckman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valdemar Tomasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Åke Gustafsson having to make a save. In the 38th minute Nisse Jul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nisse Jul, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. With a little luck, North Pole Kickers's Egil Åkerman got control of the ball when Bukayo Borglin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ghost Hunters's zone, Nisse Jul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Åke Gustafsson came out of the goal and Nisse Jul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nisse Jul to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Nisse Jul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grant Trää received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Åke Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Tomasson in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Gert Håkansson got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Pere Noel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Åke Gustafsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Åke Gustafsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valdemar Tomasson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 68 minute of play. Nisse Jul succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 73rd playminute. Thanks to some nice moves Nisse Jul could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Åke Gustafsson however easily saved by the left post. Nisse Jul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Åke Gustafsson made a huge save. With an all-out effort, North Pole Kickers's Åke Gustafsson threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pere Noel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sven Bäckman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Åkerman having to interfere. In the 87th minute Valdemar Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Bäckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, North Pole Kickers's Grant Trää got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute Valdemar Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. North Pole Kickers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
