Johannes Bergendahl didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 14th minute. Warberg FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Linus Koch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Åhlberg in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Rickard Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gunnar Österberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Johannes Bergendahl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Simonsson was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. After 33 played minutes Warberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Göran Skröder. Gunnar Österberg hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Bergendahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Warberg FC's Sören Hermansson got a free kick in the 51st minute. Börje Magnusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valter Källberg in the 51st minute. Börje Magnusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Åhlberg's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. When Johannes Bergendahl came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Warberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Bergendahl couldn't finish the play. Michael Åhlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Börje Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Simonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Koch in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Göran Skröder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oscar Simonsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Gunnar Österberg struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Oscar Simonsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warberg FC. 81 minutes into the match, Linus Koch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Simonsson. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Linus Koch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Oscar Simonsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Koch in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Linköpings AIK booed when Warberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Bergendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olov Bock to maneuver through the defense. When Warberg FC's Gunnar Österberg in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Linus Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Simonsson having to interfere. There was no doubt that Warberg FC were the better team. Warberg FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
