The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when Skene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Helander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 4 minutes, Sune Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eleven Nation Army's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sune Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleven Nation Army were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Skene's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sune Nilsson took the corner. The corner led Eleven Nation Army's Sune Nilsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Tord Thorsberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 9 minutes into the game, Eleven Nation Army's Henry Gustavsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tord Thorsberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Karl-Magnus Spetz came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Eleven Nation Army fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Magnus Spetz couldn't finish the play. Sven Uter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tord Thorsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Uter in the 24th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Emanuel Stenqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tord Thorsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sune Nilsson in the 36th minute of play. Tord Thorsberg didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 41st minute, Sune Nilsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tord Thorsberg. The goal made the score 4-0. Skene's Tord Thorsberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Skene from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Magnus Spetz was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Sven Uter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute Sune Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Thorsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Eleven Nation Army's Sune Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Skene's Tord Thorsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sune Nilsson in the 58th minute of play. Sune Nilsson struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Tord Thorsberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eleven Nation Army. With a little luck, Eleven Nation Army's Marcus Svanér got control of the ball when Ronny Örtlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tord Thorsberg came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Eleven Nation Army's Sven Uter. But to his dismay, Sven Uter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After a rather tough play, Eleven Nation Army's Karl-Magnus Spetz got a free kick in the 64th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Hagberg came free, but Marcus Svanér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Skene booed when Eleven Nation Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Thorsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sune Nilsson's late challenge caught a Skene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sune Nilsson helped the player get up and apologised. Tord Thorsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Magnus Spetz went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the game, Eleven Nation Army's Karl-Magnus Spetz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tord Thorsberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 90th match minute, Skene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Stenqvist to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes of play, Eleven Nation Army's Karl-Magnus Spetz made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tord Thorsberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute Richard Hagberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Svanér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
