In the 38th minute, Sune Nilsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Blåvitt's Herbert Ahlqvist didn't even have to move. Herbert Ahlqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sune Nilsson in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Magnus Spetz came free, but Herbert Ahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Börje Sandwall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Eleven Nation Army booed when Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Malmström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Emil Vestberg. If Sune Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Börje Sandwall made the kick off in the second half. Marcus Svanér made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Sandwall in the 53rd minute of play. When Eleven Nation Army's Karl-Magnus Spetz, in the 67th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Eleven Nation Army. After 71 minutes, Börje Sandwall made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Eleven Nation Army's Marcus Svanér tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
