The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Niklas Lill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Niklas Lill kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lennart Nyström. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Erik Stephansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lennart Nyström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Olivedals BK booed when Örtomta Legends was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niklas Lill took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lennart Nyström. Lennart Nyström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Niklas Lill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Olivedals BK got a freekick which was hit by Claes Damm. Bo Lööf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Hansson having to interfere. Lennart Boman hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Tom Pihlblad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robin Hansson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Bo Lööf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olivedals BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Lööf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niklas Lill to strike the kick off in the second half. Niklas Lill scored 3-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lennart Nyström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Niklas Lill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Bo Lööf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Olivedals BK got a freekick which was hit by Tom Pihlblad. In the 61st minute of the match Erik Nordström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennart Nyström skillfully saved the ball. When Erik Nordström fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Örtomta Legends's protests and gave Erik Nordström a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the game, Niklas Lill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Lennart Nyström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bo Lööf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Erik Stephansson made a precise shot to the right of Lennart Nyström. Olivedals BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When Niklas Lill came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Örtomta Legends fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Lill couldn't finish the play. Robin Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Lööf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Claes Damm made a precise shot to the right of Robin Hansson. Örtomta Legends's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. A hard shot 90 in the game by Bo Lööf from a close distance when the talented Robin Hansson managed to make a qualified save. Örtomta Legends's players were relieved. Erik Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Olivedals BK's zone, Niklas Lill stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lennart Nyström came out of the goal and Niklas Lill tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th match minute, Olivedals BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Pihlblad to maneuver through the defense. Niklas Lill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Nyström having to interfere. Örtomta Legends's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
