The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Lidström in the 6th minute of play forced Football Club Kekke's goalkeeper Boris Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 7 minutes, Michael Baba Ba Loua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Football Club Kekke and the MDV Mount Eaver players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Football Club Kekke's Michael Baba Ba Loua got a free kick in the 7th minute. Joseph Lidström took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boris Lundqvist. Boris Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute Football Club Kekke were awarded a corner. Martin Qvarnström went to the cornerflag to take it. Christoffer Boström kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. MDV Mount Eaver's Valter Holmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Baba Ba Loua in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, MDV Mount Eaver's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Baba Ba Loua came free, but Valter Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig Nyberg charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig Nyberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Stig Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Lidström made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, MDV Mount Eaver's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Baba Ba Loua came free, but Valter Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joseph Lidström in the 57th minute. In the 58th match minute, Football Club Kekke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Aleberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig Nyberg in the 61st minute of play forced Football Club Kekke's goalkeeper Boris Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph Lidström struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Boris Lundqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MDV Mount Eaver. In the 71st match minute, MDV Mount Eaver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Josefsson to maneuver through the defense. Football Club Kekke's Boris Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Nyberg in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Football Club Kekke booed when MDV Mount Eaver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Biörkquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Martin Qvarnström came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Football Club Kekke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Qvarnström couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Baba Ba Loua in the 83rd minute of play forced MDV Mount Eaver's goalkeeper Valter Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Stig Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Football Club Kekke's goalkeeper Boris Lundqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Lidström. The crowd rose to their feet as Stig Nyberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boris Lundqvist. That made the score 1-2 in the 97 minute of play.
