The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Hovby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Eklund came free, but Orvar Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orvar Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturalp Yenal in the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Melin in the 5th minute of play forced Hovby IF's goalkeeper Orvar Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hovby IF's Orvar Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Eklund in the 8th minute of play. Joseph Melin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Eklund in the 11th minute of play forced Hovby IF's goalkeeper Orvar Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orvar Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Hedbom in the 13th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes BELAJ BOYS got a freekick which was hit by Kent Ferm. Kent Ferm kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Jonatan Hedbom made a precise shot to the right of Orvar Engström. Hovby IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Lundström in the 26th minute of play forced BELAJ BOYS's goalkeeper Vincent Granström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingmar Alefors took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Orvar Engström. Hovby IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to BELAJ BOYS getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kent Ferm hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Viking Maagaardshus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincent Granström skillfully saved the ball. Orvar Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturalp Yenal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Hovby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Hedbom came free, but Orvar Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Baturalp Yenal notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hovby IF's Orvar Engström. Orvar Engström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Orvar Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Eklund in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Edgar Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Orvar Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Eklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Orvar Engström made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sten Siggesson during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Sten Siggesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orvar Engström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ingmar Alefors. Hovby IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Jonatan Hedbom scored to the left of an out of position Orvar Engström, making the score, 0-3. Rolf Löv sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BELAJ BOYS made a substitution. Oliver Olofsson replaced Jonatan Hedbom. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Olofsson in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Engström saved Hovby IF from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baturalp Yenal got free with Orvar Engström in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Edgar Eklund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orvar Engström, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Joseph Melin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Orvar Engström. That made the score 0-5 in the 85 minute of play. Orvar Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Eklund in the 88th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Hovby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmie Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, BELAJ BOYS's Kent Ferm got a free kick in the 96th minute.
