In the 5th minute Eugen Iurașcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stjärnblomster's zone, Gustav Alstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Gallin came out of the goal and Gustav Alstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 13 in the game by Herman Ahlström from a close distance when the talented Philip Gallin managed to make a qualified save. Stjärnblomster's players were relieved. Ingvar Gadd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Philip Gallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Stjärnblomster's Eugen Iurașcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arman Lundström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to StraX Xenon FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Aleksander Blomqvist hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Aleksander Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the StraX Xenon FC defense, Eugen Iurașcu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arman Lundström. The StraX Xenon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arman Lundström should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustav Alstedt got free with Philip Gallin in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eugen Iurașcu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arman Lundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Arman Lundström came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Stjärnblomster's Eugen Iurașcu. But to his dismay, Eugen Iurașcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustav Alstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aprígio Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Philip Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Alstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stjärnblomster's zone, Ingvar Gadd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Gallin came out of the goal and Ingvar Gadd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ingvar Gadd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Gallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Ahlström in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Herman Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 72 minutes, Aprígio Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stjärnblomster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aprígio Aleixo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Gustav Alstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gustav Alstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Stjärnblomster's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Alstedt came free, but Philip Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pontus Stenqvist hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The supporters of StraX Xenon FC booed when Stjärnblomster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Stenqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Gadd struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Philip Gallin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StraX Xenon FC. Sven-Edvin Karlsson's late challenge caught a Stjärnblomster's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Edvin Karlsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Sven-Edvin Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Stjärnblomster's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Ahlström came free, but Philip Gallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Gallin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Blomqvist in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute Herman Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 97 minutes, Eugen Iurașcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stjärnblomster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugen Iurașcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Stjärnblomster supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stjärnblomster would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
