In the 13th minute, Stefan Blom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Magnus Hedman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Dick Tunström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesper Tomasson made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Oskar Pilgren sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Thedin in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jesper Tomasson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Thedin in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesper Tomasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Magnus Hedman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Beng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albert Vennerlund's late challenge caught a Lokomotivet Kamraterna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ove Hökkvist made a kick off.
