In the 19th minute, Hjalmar Dalman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hjalmar Dalman might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Hydén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hjalmar Dalman ran back to his position shaking his head. After 24 minutes of play, Sjötorp IF's Hjalmar Dalman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Hydén was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stig Tidén struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Michael Hydén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sjötorp IF. In the 33rd minute Stig Tidén suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Ludwig Östlund fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Tallkotte's protests and gave Ludwig Östlund a yellow card for diving instead. Sjötorp IF made a substitution. Tarmo Ollonen replaced Stig Tidén. In the 34th minute, Ludwig Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. IFK Tallkotte's Michael Hydén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruslan Voronkov in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Hjalmar Dalman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sjötorp IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hjalmar Dalman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hjalmar Dalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Hydén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Dalman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 minutes, Ruslan Voronkov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sjötorp IF and the IFK Tallkotte players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ruslan Voronkov hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Sjötorp IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of IFK Tallkotte booed when Sjötorp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Dalman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sjötorp IF's Nils-Åke Runberg got a free kick in the 68th minute. Sjötorp IF's Eddie Ekegren got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Hjalmar Dalman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sjötorp IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Hjalmar Dalman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Hydén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Sjötorp IF's Tarmo Ollonen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michael Hydén. That made the score 0-2 after 75 minutes of play. Charlie Nässén's late challenge caught a IFK Tallkotte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Nässén helped the player get up and apologised. Hjalmar Dalman struck a weak shot in the 81st minute.
