In the 9th minute, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Måns Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Måns Sandberg scored 5-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Bäckman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 minutes of play, Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norrlands Athen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC NagelBitarna's Tobias Bäckman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Lebron in the 45th minute of play. The Norrlands Athen fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Lebron made a kick off. FC NagelBitarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Hermansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 17-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Norrlands Athen had played much better football throughout.
