The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Wargön was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Wallander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Sigvard Wallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But to his dismay, Ingvar Håkansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Wargön's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Helander came free, but Jörgen Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Ingvar Håkansson took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jörgen Olofsson to make any attempt to save it. Wargön's Jörgen Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Håkansson in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Erik Busk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wargön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Busk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jörgen Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Helander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Wargön got a freekick which was hit by Erik Busk. In the 47th match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Lundblad to maneuver through the defense.

NovaStella FK's Lars Helander got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Wargön's Sven Melander got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jörgen Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Kvalfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Stig-Ove Bruhn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliott Ekelund charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
