Arthur Saba struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Charles Johansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Average Joes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Rolandsson in the 16th minute of play forced AC Superstar's goalkeeper Charles Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Per Rolandsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Average Joes's Pål Askestät nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Johansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 39th play minutes Arthur Saba shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Charles Johansson and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 42nd minute Per Rolandsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Johansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pål Askestät in the 44th minute. If Per Rolandsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Average Joes's Martin Morat was substituted for Lukas Bäckman.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans Törnblom was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Harry Hernström could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Victoriano Abel however easily saved by the left post. The Average Joes fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Average Joes's Arthur Saba looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 58thth minute of the game Per Rolandsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Superstar's Charles Johansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Pål Askestät had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Charles Johansson. AC Superstar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pål Askestät was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 92nd minute, Jeremias Silban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Johansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 96 minutes into the match, AC Superstar's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Silban came free, but Charles Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Average Joes were the better team. Average Joes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
